Since 2006, as a member of the Swiss Humanitarian Aid Unit (SHA), he has specialized in issues related to the planning and implementation of large-scale reconstruction programs in fragile contexts (Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Haiti) and seismic risk management (Albania). Since 2016, he has been a consultant for the World Bank (WB) and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) on reconstruction projects in various countries (Haiti, Dominican Republic, Belize, Suriname, Ecuador, Niger, Gabon, and Chad).
